Uniforms
Symphonic band members are provided with a uniform for which they are
assessed a one-time $100 fee. Parents are responsible for any loss or damage. UNIFORMS MUST BE RETURNED DRY CLEANED. BAND MEMBERS THAT DO NOT RETURN THEIR UNIFORMS WILL BE INVOICED FOR REPLACEMENT AT A COST OF $500 PER UNIFORM AND $100 PER HAT.
A black mock turtleneck should be purchased by
members in the Concert Band level. Junior and beginner band members usually wear black pants
and white shirts that they provide themselves. We have a supply of black
ties for them to wear.

Instrument Rental
The band has a number of smaller instruments that are rented to members
for a reasonable fee such as trumpets, saxophones, clarinets etc. Many
of these instruments are meant for the use of fairly new students who would
probably move on to a higher quality instrument after a year or two. We
ask parents to sign a rental agreement and to agree to insure the instrument
under their own home policy. Parents are responsible for any loss or
damage. Forms and payment are handled by the band manager. Regular
maintenance and repair is arranged by the band.

Percussion
Fee
The band has an extensive
collection of percussion instruments including drum kits, tympanis, tubular
bells and marching drums. For band members that regularly use these items
there is a $50 per year percussion fee charged to assist the band in
recovering the maintenance and repair costs.

Large Instrument Maintenance Fee
The band has a number of
larger instruments for use by band members such as baritone saxophones and
tubas that are normally kept in the bandroom and not taken home.
Students who use these as their regular instrument are charged a $100
maintenance fee to assist in the cost of maintaining these.
